Best Gastropub – The Redhead

Gastropubs are the jack-of-all-trades of the restaurant world.  Why?  They provide the perfect atmosphere for kicking back with a foamy pint of pale ale while still serving food worthy of a top New York Times-rated kitchen.  While staples like The Spotted Pig continue to draw crowds, we’re particularly partial to the relatively under the radar The Redhead.  In true gastropub tradition, the cuisine far exceeds greasy burgers and bowls of stale beer nuts.  How about Housemade Soft Pretzels served with Kentucky-style beer cheese instead?  Or Crispy Cauliflower with green goddess hollandaise and Buttermilk Fried Chicken? You really can’t go wrong no matter what you order because you’ll still receive a free cookie along with your check for dessert.  Pretty awesome gesture for a pub, don’t you think?
